    Waris Shah

    Pir Waris Shah (Punjabi: وارث شاہ (Shahmukhi); 1722 – 1798) was an 18th-century Punjabi MuslimSufi poet of the Chishti order, known popularly for his contribution to Punjabi literature.[2][1]
