Masuji Ibuse (Japanese: 伊坂撒柔, February 15, – July 10, ) was an outstanding Japanese writer.
He was awarded the Naoki Prize in and the Yomiuri Prize in and Ibuse was also honored with the Japan Academy Art Award in , the Noma Award in , and the Imperial Order of Culture in He was an honorary citizen of Fukuyama and Tokyo.
